Earthquake Relief Efforts: So far we have taken three trips to Les Cayes and filled nine big trucks full of food water and medical supplies. We have funding to provide medical supplies and food for three more trips (9 vehicles full) within the next few weeks. We are waiting on a shipment of medical supplies from one of our US-based partners, Morning Star Fellowship to come in before we make those trips. However, we are expecting to continue relief efforts as funding comes in, as things won’t be going back to normal anytime soon. We will be observant in figuring out what needs are still to be met and how we can best reach areas that have not been getting all that they need. In the future, As we see that food and shelter are becoming more easily accessible we will shift our help into trying to provide supplies for rebuilding.
